I went and picked it up. It has a 18” non-threaded barrel, a very lightweight synthetic stock and a relatively smooth action. It uses a rotary mag that is almost identical to the Ruger 10/22 style mag, which will work in the rifle.The safety in the Precision works very smoothly and has long levers on both sides better suited for my kids. The Seekin is still stiff and crisp in the AR with fairly square corners. It probably takes more effort & digs in more than I like for a safety. For anyone with a S&W M&P15-22, the receiver is slightly wider than an AR.Replaced the AccuTrigger leaf spring with a Bic lighter spring. 4. Replaced the trigger and sear pivot pins with 1/8" drill bit stubs. 5. Stoned mating surfaces. 6. Installed small plastic shim washer in trigger pin. 7. Coated the mating surfaces with graphite.Bergara BMR accuracy expectations. Just acquired a second hand Bergara BMR. Probably around 700 rounds down the barrel.
