And the neck profile (other than the bore) is very different, very Selmer-like (if not a Selmer-copy). Keys are different, key cups are very different. "Too bright" was a comment on the clarinet mouthpiece, and "dull" was a comment of an other player on the saxophone mouthpiece. 2. Bright with a bad reponse can be dull. That is, a 1/8" or 5mm or whatever movement of the mpc, whether in (sharper) or out (flatter) will affect the high tones far more than the bottom end of the horn.
